We’ve finally settled on a name for the new baby!
The time has come for the big announcement! We’ve finally decided on a name for the new baby. We’ve gone back and forth trying to decide whether we’d like to name the baby after our favorite baseball players, our grandmothers, our mothers, grandfathers, favorite actors or actresses, or just names we’ve heard around the block.
We’ve check out blogs, baby books, Facebook friend’s lists, Twitter followers, Google+ Circles, Stumbled posts, and even Spotify playlists. We’ve debated on Star Wars characters, Hogwart professors, and even archaeologists and screamers from Indiana Jones. We’ve thought about hippie names, more bird names, practical names, and names to drive my parents crazy.
Kylie swears up and down this is a girl. Braxton swears up and down this is a boy. Hawk thinks it could possibly be a Wookie. If that is the case, we’ve promised them that it would definitely have to be named Chewie. Obviously.
So, after much deliberation, research, back-and-forths, thought, headaches, and nixes, we were finally lead to the baby’s name when we saw one of our favorite Glee stars on a Comic-Con panel. We searched IMDB to see what else this character had been in, and we saw it – the name we’ve been waiting for to just jump out at us.
Without further ado, we’ve decided that the perfect name for this baby, be it boy, girl, or wookie is…
Rosengurtle Baumgartener
(You know you want to look it up, but don’t go spoiling it for others on my Facebook page!!!)
We swore our fitst would be named Stephenopolis Eggplant. I have to say, I believe you have outdone us! 😀
HAHAHAHA! 🙂 I think everyone is mad at me because they were expecting a serious name!! 🙂
Our go to names were Roflcopter Pirate or Woofy McNugget for a boy, Whaaaambulance Pyrette or Woofeigh McMuffyn for a girl. 🙂 Never did have a wookiee name picked out though.
LOVE this…. especially the Wookie name, good for Hawk.
I love the fact that you are considering names to drive your parents crazy. TeeHee
I told people we were going to name mine Gertrude Swartz if it was a girl.
I figured you wouldn’t tell people before hand because it’s better to wait until AFTER the baby’s born – they can’t say anything then. =)
Lucille Farr was my girl name for #4 birth. That way she could be Lucy Farr… “Lucifer” for all the problems in my pregnancy.
ahahahaha Lisa, that’s awesome!
Tom wanted to name both of ours Osama. so when they woke up at night crying he could said, ‘Osama, is that you?’
I thought right now the only thing you would be calling this baby is ‘get out’!
