Lisa Singing During Labor at Rosengurtle’s Birth
This video was taken approximately an hour and a half before I gave birth to Jett Layton on 10/4/11. He was 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long. Born at Rite of Passage Birth Center in Pearland, Texas. My daughter, Kylie (sitting on the bed at the beginning of the video), had the honors of catching the baby as he was born.
His Eye is on the Sparrow
Oooh, that gave me goosebumps!
So beautiful <3 <3 <3
That’s my girl!!! In your worst way you still sing better than most people do on their best day. That was beautiful…
I just watched this with my three year old. We both loved it! You have a gifted voice!
Gorgeous!!!
Beautiful!!!
Hey girl, it’s great to catch up with and hear your still beautiful voice. I hope you are singing for the Lord every chance you get because you definitely have a God given talent. Congrats on the beautiful baby boy.
Absolutely Breathtaking
What a wonderful way to pass the time during labor! I never knew what a beautiful voice you have.
Awesome Lisa!!!! You are such an inspiration!
Wow! I never knew you could sing, and he is AMAZINGLY beautiful. Congrats!
OMG that is so beautiful! Almost as beautiful as it was in person!
Oh my God! I’m a Doula as well in Miami, FL. The first client I landed as a DIT (Doula in training) was a Christian and Her mom, my client, and I sang that throughout her birth. That song soothed her as well as gave her strength and reassurance. You made me cry, it took me back to that birth. Congrats!
