Flats Challenge 2013: Day 7 – I SURVIVED! – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
Day seven of the Flats Challenge has finally come and gone for us! I know, I'm a day late in posting the day seven post, but I did it! I completed the challenge, and I loved it! Flats Challenge 2013: Day 6 Double Dish Towel Fold – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
Day six of the Flats Challenge was a great day, for me and my love for flats! One of the things that I did was come up with a new fold that was a little more involved than the super easy Jett Fold, but it also shows that you can truly use something that you already have in your home to cloth diaper without cutting, sewing, or altering in any way. Flats Challenge 2013: Day 5 – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
Day five of the Flats Challenge has come and gone, and I'm really loving it! I'm loving all of the attention flats diapers are getting, and I love seeing all of the photos on Instagram and Facebook!! Follow the Flats Challenge on: Instagram | Twitter | Between the Kids Flats Challenge Question of the Day Dirty Diaper Laundry asks: What is working for you? What isn't? Between the Kids replies: I've NEVER been a huge fan of pocket diapers. Like I've said I'm a lazy cloth diaperer, and even though I am a huge advocate and teacher of cloth diapering…
Flats Challenge 2013: Day 4 – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
So it's day four of the Flats Challenge, and we're still trucking! Today, flats have been worn to a Kindergarten graduation (not by the kindergartner, I might add), to get the van out of the shop, to run through the drive-through to get coffee, and to the babysitter's house! Follow the Flats Challenge on: Instagram | Twitter | Between the Kids Flats Challenge Question of the Day Dirty Diaper Laundry asks: Thoughts on Handwashing - How am I doing? Between the Kids replies: I actually don't mind the handwashing. I wash a diaper after each diaper change, so it's easier…
Flats Challenge 2013: Day 3 – Flolding and Jett Fold – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
It's that time again! The 3rd Annual Flats and Handwashing Challenge is officially underway, and I'm excited to be participating once again. Today is day three, and I'm really loving all of the involvement this year! I have several friends who are also involved in the challenge as well as a few local cloth diapering mamas that I know from our Houston Cloth group who are participating as well. Flats Challenge 2013: Day 2 – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
It's that time again! The 3rd Annual Flats and Handwashing Challenge is officially underway, and I'm excited to be participating once again. Today is day two, and we're still going strong. Yesterday, after I decided to challenge myself within the challenge, I forgot to put a cover on Jett, and, well, let's just he's been sick, and I learned my lesson! I won't be doing the rest of the Flats Challenge coverless, that's for sure! Follow the Flats Challenge on: Instagram | Twitter | Between the Kids Flats Challenge Question of the Day Dirty Diaper Laundry asks: Why did you decide to take the Flats and Handwashing Challenge? Between the Kids replies: We decided to do the Flats and Handwashing Challenge, again this year, because after the challenge last year, we have converted to mostly flats and covers. It's easy, cheap, and lots of fun to diaper Jett in flats! There are so…
4th Annual Flats and Handwashing Challenge | #flatschallenge #bringflatsback
I'm sad to say that I won't be "officially" participating in the 4th Annual Flats and Handwashing Challenge! Jett won't be here for most of the week next week, so it just isn't feasible for me this year. I will, however, be using flats during the times that he is here so that I can try to get pictures just to show how easy and fun it can be! Are you taking the challenge? Day 7: Flats and Handwashing Challenge – #flatschallenge #clothdiapers
Yay! We made it through seven days of flat cloth diapers and handwashing and drying. It's been a long week, but that is totally unrelated to diapering! The main thing that I've learned during this old school week of diapering is that it's not really that hard. Although I see why cloth diapers have evolved into the modern styles that we have, I also see that if we didn't have a choice, flats aren't really that bad! Here are a few things that I've learned during this week. Flats are fun, and we'll probably use them a lot more often!…
