Burn the Floor – Invigorating.  Fun. Spastic. Sensual. Amazing. Beautiful. Crazy. Flowing. Talented. Fascinating. Captivating. Tangled. Graceful. Illustrious.

These are ALL words that are racing through my head as I search for the perfect one to describe the show we saw last night!  Burn the Floor, at the Hobby Center, was SPECTACULAR!  (I literally keep going back and adding words as I think of them!)

Kylie and I had the most amazing time, last night, as we watched some of the most talented artists cascade back and forth across the stage, speaking a language that is so full of life and emotion – dance.

Of course, we were looking forward to the renowned energy of Mark Ballas, but once the curtain was raised, we realized that all of the performers were equally as talented.

Kylie (11) was wide eyed throughout the entire show!  She had a fantastic time, and we both agreed that even the boys would love the show.  There are WONDERFUL percussionists as well as spectacular vocalists! We’re actually thinking about taking the boys to the show.  At ages 3 and 6, they will LOVE it!  There is so much going on, so much music, that they will be entertained and begging for more!

I actually met a very sweet group of women, last night, from MD Anderson Art Center, and they all agreed that their children would love to see the show, as well!  It was also great to meet a new friend – Rosemary, who was the winner of my giveaway!

Are you a music fan?  I had NO idea that the female vocalist at Burn the Floor was none other than Vonzelle “Baby V” Solomon from Season 4 of the FOX Television series American Idol.  She was 2nd runner up to Bo Bice and Carrie Underwood.  BEAUTIFUL, beautiful!

I have to insist – if you have not seen this show – YOU MUST!  My parents actually purchased their tickets for tomorrow’s show this morning after I chatted my mom’s ear off for an hour!  Not only that, but we’re going to talk to my sister and her family into going to the show when it is in Dallas!
