This is SO simple!  Basically, it’s Homemade “Magic Shell”.

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 1/2 cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • You can add whatever additional flavoring you’d like.  Almond extract, cinnamon, ginger, more coconut, etc.

Mix them over a double boiler on low heat (or just in the pot, but make sure not to burn or scorch it!).

Once the mixture hits the ice cream, the coconut oil will cause it to harden, making your very own, homemade “Magic Shell”.

I use Tropical Traditions Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.
