The Great Deflation: Week 2 – Need.more.water. #fitness #weightloss
This past week has been tough on me. I’ve been fighting plugged ducts, possible thrush, fever and sick kiddos! Not only am I having to remember to drink enough water for weight loss and nursing, I’m also having to remember to add a bit more on top of that to flush out these boob problems…
I’m going to show this graphic again until I actually remember to get up out of my chair and do them! I get so caught up in blogging, nursing Jett, holding Jett, taking apart LEGOs for Hawk, this, that, and everything else, that I’ve found another week has come and gone and I haven’t even started doing any type of exercise! Who am I kidding. I will not be able to accomplish ANYTHING if I don’t get up and move!
We also forgot to measure. Again. Is it just me or is life just BUSY? Where did the week go? Why is it that I feel like I’ve done nothing but cut out sodas and fried foods?
We did make a switch and tried turkey bacon and chicken bacon, just because. I know, they’re still not great for us, but we’re moving into this kinda slowly, and we’re experimenting, too!
Need.more.water.
Yep, you read it. I need to drink more water. Confession time. I think I only had about 4 glasses of water yesterday. Yes, I know. That’s absolutely TERRIBLE considering everything that’s stacked against me.
Andy rolled his ankle this morning… aren’t we a pair!? The good news, is, that I got a Fitbug to review over at Shibley Smiles, so I’m excited to see how this little gadget I’ve named Atom, can help me!
This week, I lost 3 more pounds, and Andy lost 3 more pounds!
Grand total:
Andy Lost 6 lbs
Lisa Lost 12 lbs
Because we started with $50 in the Great Deflation Pot, that brings our total so far to — $67!!
Ok, it’s back to bed to nurse, nurse, nurse…
Woot! You two are doing a fantastic job!! 🙂 Yes… water water water (and I need to remind myself of that too). It is amazing how BUSY life is and even remembering the ‘simpliest’ things such as water, vitamin etc are forgotten when we are busy being Mom. <3
You rock! Proud of you!!
