Are you as eager to give as you are to receive? What’s in a gift?
I’ve never been a big fan of gift getting. Actually, I’ve never really been able to say “ok, get me this” if someone asks me what I want, and I’ve always had a hard time actually accepting gifts out of the blue. I love to be on the giving end. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that, like me, it is just as fulfilling for some people to actually give to others as it is for some to receive.
I have finally come to grips with the fact that it is ok to accept gifts because you never really know how much of a blessing it is to the other person to be able to gift you.

Wedding Anniversary gifts are a little like Valentine’s Day gifts! If your significant other is fine with a trip to the baseball stadium or a night alone with no kiddos, that’s great, but if you really want to surprise him/her, put some thought into it and make it count!
Then, there is always that special someone who has always been there for you! From time to time, I like to pick up or make special thank you gifts just to let friends and family know that I’m thinking about them, too. You never know when someone else needs a pick me up.
This Valentine’s Day, I’m trying to embrace my inner gift receiver, and I’ve already told Andy what I want! Actually, I think I told him what I wanted for the next holiday on Christmas night! Dishes. Yes, I want a whole brand spankin’ new set of dishes!
