Bluegrass, Comedy, Flashy Costumes, and Lots of Food – All in One! | Dixie Stampede
As you may have read in one of my previous posts, my parents went to Pigeon Forge way-back-when, and they were excited to find out that Dixie Stampede was on our itinerary for Brandcation #4! Dixie Stampede Pigeon Forge Attraction is a great place to go for awesome food, high energy, and tons of entertainment.
What I didn’t know is that each show seats and feeds 1,200 people! That’s a lot of people, and tons of food.
One of my favorite parts of Dixie Stampede was actually the pre-show. It was awesome to sit and listen to the bluegrass trio. The guys were lots of fun, and they sounded fantastic. I loved it when they did the southern gospel medley, because I knew all of the old songs, even the ones that not everyone has heard like Rise Again and He’s Alive.
We weren’t allowed to use our cameras during the main event, so I only have one photo of the arena before the show started.
Our server was Steve, and he was fantastic at his job. He had a system so that he could remember a large number of drink orders at one time. I asked him what would happen if I messed up his system, and he let me know really quickly that I’d just get the wrong drink! We had a really good time sitting in his section. He was extremely nice, quick on his feet, and a fantastic server.
One of the cool things about the Dixie Stampede main event was that the servers actually got in on the action down in the arena. Not only were they active participants in the show along with serving the guests, but audience members were chosen to participate in the show as well. Of course, there was a character who provided comedy relief, which was also fun, as comedy shows are awesome and people really enjoy them, and that’s why having places like the City Comedy Club London is great to watch comedians performing live.
The audience consisted of two different teams, the North and the South, and after various races, our team (North) won! There were also actual live buffalo, pig races, beautiful horses with flashy riders (even trick riders!), but it was really fun, and as I really like horses I also learned about Comprehensive arena construction solutions for them as well.
The meal was fantastic. There was so much food, and NO UTENSILS. We had to eat with our hands, and my girl Lori and I LOVED it! We just chowed down!

Here is a pic of our entire group! It was so much fun! I think they had us say “Stampede” here, which is why you see all of us looking pretty goofy with crazy opened mouths!
We had a great time at Brandcation #4 with the help of Dixie Stampede and Brandfluential.. I received a ticket to the dinner show in exchange for my honest review all opinions are my own. If you’re planning a vacation to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, check them out!
This blew away any dinner show I had ever watched that involved horses! LOVED IT!
