Chefman Belgian Waffle Maker Groupon & Review – Only $29! Free Shipping
Just a few weeks ago, while looking around a few garage sales with my mom, I told her that I wanted to get a Belgian Waffle Maker like they have in hotels. Of course, it doesn’t have to be the heavy duty kind like they have, but there’s something about those waffle makers that are just AWESOME! When I ran across this Chefman Belgian Waffle Maker Groupon, I was stoked! So I bought it.
We love it. You simply pour the batter (don’t forget the egg or baking powder like I did last time!), close the top, rotate, and lock. It’s that simple. So simple, in fact, that my teenager loves doing this for me!
I like that it has a drip tray (although it’s plastic) so that if I fill it too much, it doesn’t make a mess all over the place. Like I said, this one isn’t the heavy duty kind, but I LOVE IT. We use it quite frequently, for many different things. As a matter of fact, I’ll be doing a blog post, soon, about all the different things you can make with a waffle maker!! LOVE. (So much better than the thin waffles.

I bought the Groupon deal too, and for all the same reasons as you! I love those hotel waffles! However, I have found that I cannot get my waffles crispy enough (or at all!) even on the max setting. Any tips?
Leave it on the waffle iron longer than when the green light comes on. Or… do you spray your iron down with something like Pam in between each waffle? That helps make ours crispy!
I just got what appears tobe the same Belgian Wafflemaker from Groupon and the one that I received was junk! It would not close correctly, had multiple cracks in it, was made almost entirely out of plastic (for a cooking appliance I don’t think that is the best idead), and finely when I plugged it in it began to smoke! not from the griddle area but from hinge area. I have been fighting with Groupon to return it but they have a 14 day return policy, of course since it was a Christmas gift we did not notice it until it was after the 14 day period. It is my opinion only but at least with the Groupon Goods section of their business, they basically sell junk that they can’t sell elsewhere and greatly inflate the list price to make you think that you are getting a good deal. If you search for the waffle make you can find it for $25.00 at the Sears outlet and that is just one place that I checked. In my opinion the Groupon Goods portion of the company allows the sellers of their products to misrepresent what they are and the quality. It just goes to show you that no legitimate company is going to sell you something for over 50% off.
Hey Dan!
I’m sorry your wafflemaker was damaged! Would you mind letting me know your Groupon user name or the email address you use for your account, and I can see if I can have my rep take a look at the situation for you?
I really, really like Groupon and the products they offer, and we haven’t had a problem like this before with any of the Goods we’ve purchased!
If you’d like to email me at lisa.betweenthekids@gmail.com, you can let me know privately, or just let me know if the email address you’ve used for this comment is the one you used for your Groupon purchase.
I hope it’s straightened out soon!

I purchased the wafflemaker through the Groupon deal. I thought it would be a great treat when my children came to visit over the holidays. I plugged it in, it started to smoke and now won’t even heat up… needless to say no waffles for Christmas… I contacted Groupon and was told it can’t be returned so now I have a wafflemaker that doesn’t work and never did…. so sad…
