When we first got married, I remember Andy trying to shave with an electric shaver with just about no luck at all.  I really didn’t know why it didn’t work for him, nor did I ask.  When I handed him the Philips Norelco PowerTouch AT830 to try out, I could tell he was hesitant.

Come to find out, he was unable to use the shaver he had, because it was a dry shaver only, and he can’t dry shave without his face burning or breaking out.

The AquaTec seal on the Philips electric shaver makes it 100% waterproof. Use it in the shower with your favorite shaving gel or foam for extra skin comfort. Naturally you can also shave dry for convenience.

Philips Norelco PowerTouch AT830 reviewHis favorite feature of the PowerTouch AT830 is that he can use shaving cream while he’s shaving with it.  I didn’t even know that was an option with shavers (and neither did my mom when I asked her – she thought I was talking about an actual razor!).

The good news is, that this means to clean the shaver, you can also run it under water while using soap, and you don’t really have to mess with the little brushes to make sure you get it clean.

The pop trimmer is great for trimming up the burns, stache, and beard, however, one downside is that he’s found that with just the shaver and trimmer, it’s hard for him to shape up his facial hair, because the trimmer isn’t a close shave and the blades on the shaver are a rounded.

All in all, the PowerTowuch AT830 is a really great shaver that gives my husband a close shave the way HE likes to shave – with shaving cream!  Score!
