Broccoli.. Celery.. gotta be… VeggieTales.  When VeggieTales first came out, I loved, because they had a Larry and Bob.  We have always called my dad Larry Bob.  It was kinda cool to look at this new Christian animation concept and think, “hey, those are my dad’s names!”  But in reality, it was great to have fun and interesting figures turn into silly role models, for our kids, right before our eyes.

VeggieTales: The Little House That Stood

I’m always amazed, and excited, to see what new and off the wall ways that Big Idea, Inc. comes up with to portray the stories and parables from the Bible.  VeggieTales:  The Little House That Stood is so much fun to watch and learn the how the wise man, Bob, builds his house on a firm foundation with the help of God’s Word, or the Master Builder’s Handbook.

VeggieTales:  The Little House That Stood – Release 3/5/13

The story is told with the help of another popular story, The Three Little Pigs, so even families who aren’t familiar with the infamous Bible story can relate and enjoy the fun-filled show as well.

We also loved how they took other classic nursery rhyme characters like Humpty Dumpty and Goldilocks and told another life lesson about helping others.
