When I was selected to be a party host for the Cadbury® Ice Cream Bars High Tea Party through Mom Select, I was baffled and excited, because it was for girls ages 4-9.. none of which I have!  My daughter is 14, so I had to go to my Facebook friends and find little girls to invite to my tea party!

Blue Bunny and Cadbury came up with some pretty awesome ice cream bars!

I sent out the invite for a Sunday afternoon, and I had a birth to attend!  I rescheduled it for the following Sunday.

That next Saturday, I received a call that another client was in labor, so I canceled the tea party again.  Poor little girls, they were so upset with me, and the client ended up not being in labor after all!

I rescheduled the party for a Wednesday evening, and I knew I had to do something very fun for them to keep them entertained so I decided to bring in a special guest for the party!

Wouldn’t you know, on Wednesday morning, my client went into labor!  I was at the hospital with her all day, and my mom, sister and friends went ahead and threw the tea party for me!  I am so thankful for them!

I was expecting text updates about the party, and no one ever sent anything, so I got away for a second to ask how it was going, and the only reply I received was from my friend, Lourdes:

“These ice cream bars are SO GOOD!“

I was a bit jealous, because I was starving, and they had been in my freezer for about a month!  I was so hoping that they all didn’t get eaten!

After the party was over, I was told that the girls were wondering why there was a clown at the party!  They had to explain to them that he’s the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, and many of them didn’t even know what that is!

The tea party kit consisted of a cute little tea set that reminded me of when I was a little girl with a tea set, cute, cute party fascinators and hats, as well as the following ice cream bars:

  • Cadbury® Royal Dark™: Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury Royal Dark chocolaty coating
  • Cadbury® English Toffee: Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat toffee ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with toffee pieces

Classic Flavors

  • Cadbury® Caramello™: Creamy Blue Bunny Reduced fat vanilla ice cream swirled with caramel sauce all dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
  • Cadbury® Vanilla Chocolate: Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating

The only downside to the ice cream bars is that they are a little on the small side!  Everyone wanted more. They were so good, but once you tasted them, they were rich and creamy, so they are very satisfying.

Make sure you pick up a box or two of the Blue Bunny Cadbury Ice Cream Bars!  My favorite are the Caramello bars!  They’re so dreamy.
