WaterWipes Review | #Win a case of WaterWipes! #Giveaway (12/6)
One of the hardest and last changes for parents of babies and toddlers to do when making the switch to cloth diapers is to break down and actually change to cloth wipes. There’s no judgement here, because cloth diapering isn’t for everyone, and using cloth wipes isn’t always for every cloth diaper user.
I was excited when I received samples of WaterWipes in a Mommy Resource Bag, because I finally found a wipe that is a fantastic option for parents who are looking to live a more natural, chemical free life, yet still want to hang on to their disposable wipes.
Cloth Diaper Mom Approved
So, what is in WaterWipes that makes them cloth diaper mom approved?
Water & Grapefruit Seed Extract
That’s it. All other wipes contain harsh chemicals. Solution: WaterWipes with 99.9% water plus a tiny drop of natural ingredients.
WaterWipes are great for nappy rash and other sensitive skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis because WaterWipes doesn’t irritate the skin. In fact WaterWipes are the only baby wipe ever to be approved by Allergy UK.
Of course, this is in no way stating that these wipes are a cure for your baby’s skin conditions, but because there are no irritants such as parabens, alcohol, perfumes, phtalates, benzoates, etc., they’re perfectly safe to use on all skin types.
I know we’ll never use another baby wipe again. Water and GSE are the perfect mixture for me, and that’s usually what I use for my cloth wipes as a solution!
Water Wipes are not greasy, and they don’t contain any preservatives (because they don’t have to!). They’re just great all around pure baby wipes.
From what I know about grapefruit seed extract from my many years of cloth diapering, it has the following properties (in my own words):
- Antibacterial
- Antiviral
- Antifungal
- Immune system booster
- Yeast preventative
- Environmentally friendly
Because of all of these properties, you don’t need the soaps and oils that are in other baby wipes to ensure your little one has a clean bottom before putting a diaper back on!
I also use these wipes to clean my face at night as well as to clean The Minion’s face and hands! These are great for sticky messes! From now on, these are the only disposable wipes I will ever recommend!

I’m not sure how many my niece uses for her baby, but I would guess at least 20.

I don’t use many unless my grandchildren visit, but then I use about 20!

I have no clue to be honest. Maybe about 15-20?
