Playing in the Leaves | #WordlessWednesday #WW #Fall
The kids had one day to play in the leaves before the rain set in. I was able to get Jett out before the rain started, but once the kids got home from school, the leaves were already starting to get mushy!
Apparently, this was his first encounter with leaves, because he wasn’t fond of them at all, and he was looking for his grass the whole time! (This pic is posed. It was actually taken before it got cold and rainy. It was about 72 degrees in this picture and the humidity was so high, I could see it, and we were sweating the whole time!)
The following photos were taken a few hours after the first one of Jett. The temperature had dropped from 72 to low to mid 30s. They had a blast. Yes, those are tiki torches.
What a fun time! Love making memories like this, and leaves are soo fun!
This is one thing I miss about Florida we don’t get leaves like that to play in!
We did that once at our house. We don’t get that many leaves in Florida.
I nice big pile of leafs is just too tempting to ignore 😛
How fun! I wish we had leaves like these to do something similar as a family.
Our weather kind of went like that here. One minute it was in the 70s the next it was freezing.
That temp drop when the front hit was CRAZY! I love all of the leaves … wish we had a good tree for leaves. My kiddos would go nuts jumping around in your pile.
I love all of the pictures! Too bad there are no longer leaves here for my son to play in – just snow! I’m not much of a snow fan. ~lol~
Your little man has gotten so big!
How fun! I’ve never been able to play in a pile of leaves. Looks like a blast!
