Hit the Road with Zubie!

The Teenager wants Driver’s Ed for her birthday that’s less than a month away. We have offered to pay for an online course for her and to do parent taught driver training. The reality is setting in that in a little over a year, she’ll be of legal driving age. *Insert Screams Here* I’m excited to learn about a service called Zubie that will actually allow us to monitor her driving while we’re not in the car! We even got some accessories to keep the car nice and clean, access mats have also been something we were considering to keep the ground protected from moisture and other substances.
One of the things that we’ve had to talk to Kylie about is that driving doesn’t start and end with Driver’s Ed. On top of actually having car payments, you also have to pay for insurance, gas and maintenance. From tires to oil changes and wiper blades to air filters, being a car owner (or even just a teen using mom’s minivan <— you see that Teenager?) can be freeing, however, it can also be one hassle after another.
Zubie can help you save money on car repairs by alerting you about a low battery and even by translating engine codes so that you already know what you’re dealing with before heading into the auto repair shop.

This would be a great gift to give your teen with a set of keys to the car or for your hubby who can’t quite remember when it’s time to change the oil!!
I know nothing about vehicle maintenance and Hubs is too busy to eat so this could be a solution for us!
I have heard so many good things about the Zubie. I’m sure I could use it, but definitely want it when my son is old enough to drive.
I’ve been hearing a lot about this lately and it seems like such a cool product!
I LOVE the idea of being able to monitor them while they are driving alone! So cool!
Great for the hubby who can’t remember when to change the oil? How about me who always runs at least 1000 miles over before I remember to tell hubby the car needs a change!
I’ve read a lot about this lately. Seems to be a good app for parents to keep up with new drivers in their families!
It would definitely be nice to know what those dashboard signs mean. I could get behind a Zubie!
I’ve been seeing a few friends talk about this. Looks pretty neat, but I worry about how much personal info they are getting from it.
We love our Zubie. My Husband keeps asking what his score is
This sounds like such a great product. Finally something useful for a not-so-techie in regards to cars like me.
I’m sure kids probably claim “You don’t trust me” when told their car is being monitored but in reality, it’s nice for even an adult to know when issues with the car are happening!
I keep telling my husband we need to get one of these before we go on vacation this summer.
I just heard about these yesterday. We need one of them!
This is awesome, something I wish they would have had around many years ago.
I really want that for my car! My brother is going to start driving soon {he’ll be 18 in September} and that makes me nervous enough- I can’t even start to imagine when my KIDS start driving!
I keep hearing about Zubie. It sounds so great. One of these days I am going to try it out!
I think these are so worth it!~
