Three Handwriting Apps for Preschoolers
It’s never too early to teach your child to write, and thanks to technology, it’s easier than ever to show your child the basics of handwriting. While there are literally hundreds of handwriting apps for kids inside the app store, I found three that are a must have for any preschool child. You may help them practice writing early to prepare them for preschool or early learning centre.
iTrace- Featuring a bright design and bold illustrations, the iTrace app is perfect for toddlers and preschool aged children alike. Parents can track their child’s progress, and set the app up for either left or right handed children. Offering rewards for progress made, and fun animations, kids will love practicing their handwriting on this fun app. $3.99 in the app store.
Writing Pad- This app, designed with kids in mind, features large, basic lines that are perfect for practicing writing letters, numbers, and even sentences on. Compared to some apps, it’s simple, but it’s primarily based off of the handwriting notebooks used in school. $0.99 in the app store.
Cursing Writing Wizard- While cursive isn’t really taught much in schools anymore, allowing your kids to learn the basics of cursive handwriting, isn’t entirely a bad idea. The cursive wizard app teaches children the basics of cursive and allows parents to track their child’s work. All while featuring bright animations and a bold interface. $3.99 in the app store.
