Ten Things Every Mom Needs To Know | #KidPresident
Sometimes, we (moms) just don’t take the time to check ourselves when it comes to the little things. As a work at home mom, I find myself having a hard time TAKING the time to be a little more patient with my kids as well as just stop to do more than.. clean up the poop.. or spilled Gatorade.. or bug guts.. or oatmeal..
(Yes, as I’m typing this… “Mommy, my poop, my finger!” Lovely.)
Take a look at what Kid President has to say to moms! This kid is SERIOUSLY cute! I love his message. My father-in-law send this to me.
I like the “stop cleaning” part.. Sounds like something I can handle!
Oh man as I get older my patience with the kids is shorter. Like when one decided to paint our white linoleum with cold water and red jello. Or the other one decided to share his artistic 2 year old skills on the couches with sharpie. It’s never ending I swear.
Sometimes it is easy to get overwhelmed whether it be with blogging, cleaning, or whatever. It doesn’t help having an infant that isn’t a real consistent sleeper. I hate myself when I lose patience and snap, especially at the older one. This is something that I am seriously working on.
My mom got stuff to do! That totally cracked me up!
LOL! Don’t name your kid phone! That’s a fantastic video!!
lol at the stop cleaning.
I have stopped cleaning up immediately after the kids. I get them to pick up and such but if the rug needs vacuumed and can wait, I will do it after their bedtime.
Lol , Kid President always makes me laugh.
Oye! I’ve had reproductions of that exact photo happen in my kitchen at least a dozen times.
Thanks for sharing. I smiled the whole time.. MOM = WOW! Yes indeed and the secret to changing the world.. oh yes I love that too.. Stop cleaning… God knows that’s a constant struggle.
That video is awesome- as is the “uh-oh” look on that face!
Super funny! Love the messes kids make. I try to remember to stop and enjoy it (with a camera) before I start cleaning.
This reminds me of Charlotte, she used to dump cereal on the floor all the time. Its a good memory now!
