Mini Milestones with Netflix | #StreamTeam
We’ve had some pretty significant events in our house over the last couple of months! We don’t really go crazy over firsts or milestones, but some of them are a little note-worthy this go ’round!
The Hubby and I officially launched a local community website complete with community event calendar, business directory, and city resource list. This was no small feat! There was a lot of time, research, and late nights involved, but together we make it work. It’s a great asset to our community!
The Teenager (aside from the broken bones which will be left for another post!) attended her first homecoming dance this month! We had a great time getting ready for it with all of the homecoming activities and dress shopping. She looked beautiful and she had a great time! She also received her yellow belt in jujitsu/judo last month! Pretty proud mama! (Oh, and she also got to go see one of her favorite artists in concert for the first time, Kari Jobe!)
The Gamer is excited to be a part of the pre-teen ministry at our church, now, rather than still being a part of the younger kids with his brother. CrossPoint gets to be a part of service projects, parties, and other events that the younger children aren’t privy to! This is a rite of passage, of sorts, before moving up to middle school and the youth department next year. He will also be testing for his yellow belt in jujitsu/judo this week!
The Entertainer made the “A” Honor Roll for the first six weeks! We’re pretty proud of his accomplishments! Like The Gamer, he’s also going to be testing for his yellow belt in jujitsu/judo this week!
The Minion turned THREE! This is a major accomplishment considering he’s so high energy and pretty much afraid of nothing. He’s the daredevil of the house, and he’s climbed on and jumped off of pretty much anything and everything he can! Now, if he’d only use the potty! *smh*
There are some great shows on Netflix that are all about the mini milestones!
I’m really excited to see that Julius Jr is on Netflix now! As you’ve probably noticed, he’s one of my brand ambassadorships, and he’s so adorable! I’m so glad to know that I can go turn him on for The Minion at anytime!

Getting Glasses: Arthur: S15E09, Through the Looking Glasses

Rags to Riches: Annie <— Pretty excited to find this one on Netflix!
The Teen is still watching One Tree Hill while she has nothing better to do but sit in her wheel chair and watch TV, and I’m happy to be able to catch Hart of Dixie every now and then since they’ve added a new season!
Have you had any recent mini milestones in your family?
Disclosure: I am part of the Netflix Stream Team. All opinions are my own.
I love all these milestones. Such a fun post. We love Netflix here. We cut our cable and now love to stream. I like that there are no commercials and I really control what the kids watch.
I love your post about all the milestones. You have such a great family. We love Netflix and show a show as a family 3 times a week. Mine milestone would be that my son and I have just each gotten a Leopard Gecko. Mine is an albino Fancy Leopard female Gecko and his is regular male Leopard Gecko.
Wow! You have so many great things to celebrate 🙂 I also totally use Netflix as a reward system and even educational tool 🙂
I love the post about all your milestones. We are also huge Netflix fans.
I have a birthday in 4 days. And my daughter is ‘officially’ wearing her first ever ‘scary’ Halloween costume this year.
