Have you kissed your diapering days goodbye?  Now that the Minion is in daycare, we’ve ditched the diapers, and he’s getting better  with using the potty.  Notice I said better?  Yeah, we still have an accident or two a day, but my baby is growing up, and even though I’m so over diapers, I’m glad to be moving on from this chapter in our lives!

As a cloth diaper user, one of the things I find that most cloth diapering families have a hard time doing is make the switch from disposable wipes to cloth wipes.  No judgement here.  Actually, truth be told, we used disposable products, including Huggies Wipes, quite often… and we still do!

Cleaning the Table

My kids are insanely messy!  So messy, in fact, that we can’t really understand how The Entertainer actually gets food IN his mouth he makes such a mess – and he’s 8 years old!  Much messier than my 3 year old.  My kids have to clear and clean the table as part of their after dinner chores.

Rather than grabbing those lemon scented heavy chemical laden disinfectant wipes, we have my kids grab one  wipe from the Huggies Simply Clean and give the table a good wipe down.  We’re not preparing raw chicken on the table, so there’s no need to disinfect, just clean.  It’s much safer on my kiddos’ hands to use Huggies!

 Cleaning Shoes

Another use for Huggies Wipes is to clean shoes.  Normally, I’m not so worried about my shoes, but this time, my Zigs are bright white, and I want to keep them looking as clean as possible for as long as I’m able.  When I drop something on them, all I have to do is give them a good wipe down with Huggies wipes, and I don’t have to worry about washing them which will break down the shoes quicker.  I also use them to scrub the soles to make the whites whiter.  (Below is a quick job.  I haven’t had time to give them a deep clean, but you can definitely tell the difference in the photo!
