6 Reasons you should watch Leverage on Netflix | #StreamTeam
Thanks to a friend of ours who randomly posted about Season 5 being on Facebook, the hubs and I have become obsessed with Leverage on Netflix.
Sadly, I have to say that for the past couple of months, we’ve (on average) watched at least two episodes of Leverage per night. Yeah, on average. Sometimes, more. Shhh.. Truth be told, the hubby is REALLY into it. There are nights that I have to say, “Ok, I need to catch up on my Astros.” Leverage has 5 seasons (2008-2012) and they’re all on Netflix.
Watch Leverage on Netflix!
There is a team of five: The Mastermind, The Grifter, The Hitter, The Theif, and The Hacker.
It basically starts off by saying, “The rich and powerful take what they want. We steal it back for you.” It’s a modern day Robin Hood, and it’s awesome.
The actors and actresses fit their characters PERFECTLY, and they all have a multitude of talents, however I’m going to give you the six reasons I think that you should watch this show. They are the same six reasons I watch the show.
1. Christian Kane aka Eliot Spencer
Eliot Spencer has a back ground in US Black Ops. He’s a warrior, and his main job is to protect the Leverage team. He’s somewhat secretive and guarded about the logistics his past, and his calm and sweep-you-off-your-feet voice hooks you from episode one.
2. Eliot Spencer aka The Hitter
This guy knows just about any type of self defense and fight style known to man – and he knows them well. He’s a strategic player, and he is the ultimate survivalist.
3. The Hitter aka The Retrieval Specialist
Eliot Spencer can pretty much get any person in or out of any situation. He comes out of nowhere, does what he has to do, and takes what he needs. After all, he helped liberate Croatia.
4. The Retrieval Specialist aka The Gourmet Chef
Eliot Spencer is a gourmet chef. He doesn’t simply make a ham sandwich. He makes “the unforgettable sandwich“. He also grows his own food and knows how to plan a mean menu. Oh, and he’s pretty good with a knife.
5. The Gourmet Chef aka The Highly Accomplished Athlete
Eliot has two different athletic aliases. Ray Chappell is a catcher for the Boston Beavers Minor League Baseball Team, and he had a Rueben sandwich names after him after he hit an awesome and important homerun. Eliot infiltrates a hockey team as a force to be reckoned with known as “Jack the Bear ” and he helps take down the owner.
6. The Gourmet Chef aka The Singer
I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard Eliot sing. So much so, I decided to look up his music, and he’s a pretty awesome recording artist!
Take a moment to check out this scene from Leverage Season 3.
