It’s been a great phone, and it’s been with us through the good times and the bad times, however, you’re due for an upgrade, so since we’re in this together – it’s time to make the switch. Now, let me tell you why I love this phone which has been affectionately dubbed in the tech world as a “phablet”.
As you know, like you, I am a very busy person. Between my blog, virtual assistant work, community resource website and full time Facebook page, The Chalky Box, CrossPoint Ministry, Mont Belvieu Business Network, Pilot Club, and so on and so forth, not to mention my 200 social media account, I have a lot to keep up with. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is super fast, and helps me organize and keep up with all of that, so you don’t have to! But guess what… it can help you, too!
Samsung Pay
So I know how you love to be the most technologically advanced person in the store. Samsung Pay is so simple and secure, and it works just like using your regular cards to pay. Credit cards, debit cards, membership cards, gift cards, department store cards, rewards cards, etc., you name it, it works. But here’s the kicker! Because we live in a small town, only a handful of places accept NFC payments. The GOOD news is that you can use Samsung Pay anywhere that has mag swipe card readers, NFC, and bar code readers! If they can swipe your card, then they will more than likely accept Samsung Pay! Each transaction has a one time use security code for safe and secure use.
Oh, and you don’t have to worry about forgetting your gift cards at home, anymore, because you can add them right in Samsung Pay. Guess what that means? As long as you have your phone, you can stop on the way home and get me my favorite coffee anytime I’d like!
It’s seriously accepted virtually anywhere.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 S Pen
This suped up stylus is awesome. Not only does it have it’s own little safe storage compartment, the Note5 actually knows when it’s safe and sound, when it’s close to the phone, and when it’s wandered off a little farther from home base than it would like.
One of my favorite features is that if your phone is sleeping, you can quickly pop the S Pen out, and it will automatically launch a quick notepad to write on so that you don’t have to search for your notes app.
Like me, it will be so handy for you to take to business meetings (or the bathroom, either one) to quickly jot down any information you need from the meeting without having to lug around a notebook (and then misplacing it for a month….). All of the information that you need is right there in your phone.
When you take the S Pen out of the Note5, you can activate Air Command, and it brings up several different actions from which to choose. When you choose the S Note, you can do so many things, that it would take a whole other post just to cover half of them. I like that you can change out the background of the notes depending on what you need. Super, super cool.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 Size
This is the biggest phone I’ve ever had. I really didn’t think I was going to like the size, because I’ve used the pretty small X for so long, but I love the way this feels in my hand, and I really like being able to see and write so much on one screen. It’s fantastic.

It seems like with each new phone I try out, there is so much hype about the camera that when I get it and start using it, it’s just as good or as bad as the one before. This phone, however, takes excellent photos! Check out the specs compared to our current 10MP/2MP.
