Growing up, I was always Boss Hogg – for obvious reasons. My daddy gave me that name and still calls me by it sometimes. My mom’s nickname was Broom-Hilda, because that’s how my dad said it. My younger sister was either Dodo Bozio Bamboozle. My older sister Kim, was always the obvious name of Bimbo. Daddy, even though his name is Larry Louis his nickname was Bobcat that eventually just made its way to Larry Bob, and because we’re from Texas, shortened to Lar-Bob.
Andy’s aunt calls him Andy Pandy. His other nicknames are Dad, Daddy, Andyroo, and Agent Underhand (xbox).
Kylie has many. Kyliebelle, Kyliebug, Belle, Bellabug, Weirdo (our fave)
Braxton’s is obvious. Brax. Then there’s the ocassional Braxtonian.
Hawk.. well, Hawkster, and because he nursed so long, my dad occasionally still calls him Tit Mouth. *sigh*

When I was in Kindergarten/Preschool (can’t quite remember the timeframe), I would bring home papers with stuff like GREAT! GOOD, etc on it. One time, my teacher didn’t write any comments, so I proudly wrote it myself. When I got home, everyone started laughing.
I had written G-O-O-B instead of GOOD, so… the nickname stuck. Everyone called me Goob…Goober…Gubbly. Whatever.

I never had any funny nicknames growing up but my kids do. My eldest is Nathaniel nickname Chi all because when he was 2 he had a bird named Chi well I found him on the front porch crying his eyes out b/c he dropped the birds cage and Chi the bird flew away well Nathaniel sat out on the porch for days calling for his bird and we just started calling him Chi and it stuck kinda sad story but It was so sweet seeing the love he had for his bird at such a small age<3 Recently he's taken up the Diary of Whimpy Kid books and wants to be called Greg but there's no getting away from Chi it's stuck for good 🙂 Aiden my 2 year old is Chicken cause well he's far from it he's no chicken pants he's super brave and daring. He has fallen and hurt himself on countless occasions and never cries weird kid lol and Ethan is Ether or Caca beans dont think that one will stick lol He's my littlest and darkest baby so he's caca beans! lol 🙂

my mom always called me darlenea sue kay francis. i dont no why,maybe coz i didnt have a middle name. so everyone called me dskf pronounced (disfey).my friends got a kick out of it

I voted jedi….While pregnant with my oldest daughter my mom said that her nickname would depend on who she looked like. if it was me it was rerun, my husband it would be Jr. She is 9 yrs old & I still call her rerun. lol She doesn’t like it but it stuck!
Oh, I picked a popular one! I hope I’m right. I picked “Jetsetter” because it reminds me of my oldest son, whose initials spell JET. My nickname story is from my childhood. My middle name is Roxann. My daddy sometimes calls me “Roxy”. When at school, sometimes teachers would call out my full name during roll-call, especially at the beginning of the year. A class clown in my art class heard my middle name and would NOT let me live it down. Any time he saw me, he’s start singing, “Roxann, you don’t have to turn on your red light!”

Well, my name is Stormy and that’s pretty weird on its own. Everyone always asks me if that’s my real name or a nickname. They also ask me if I was born on a stormy night. The answer is no. lol My nickname when I was little was Pookie but it didn’t stick. My annoying little sisters sometimes call me Stormy-Wormy. After a trip to Georgia to see my grandfather with my dad and my little sisters we all got new nicknames. My youngest sister got stuck with Bubbles because my middle sister stuck bubblegum in her hair. We thought that was so funny for some reason…I got stuck with Piglet because when I giggled I snorted. My middle sister got Squirt. ha ha. Because she kept tooting and it sounded nastily wet. Its nasty I know but when we use the nicknames around new people the stories come with and they get pretty embarrassed.

I chose Jetster! My son is Anthony Robert and we use Anthony NOT Tony. However my older boys think it’s funny to call him Tony Bob! I really hope that one does not stick!

When my oldest daughter was born, my son was 2 years, 11 days old. When Rebecca Jean was about 2 weeks old, we were in the car with my mother, my sister, and my sister’s friend. The friend asked my son what his baby sister’s name was, and he replied “Rejecca Bean”. She is still called that nickname 38 years later.

I chose Bubba because I hear a lot of people (by a lot I mean 3 or so) call their kids Bubbie for no apparent reason. And Bubba is the closest to Bubbie 🙂
My name is Gee, pronounced like the letter G. I had a substitute teacher call me Zee for a few days even though I had told her multiple times it was Gee. I guess she didn’t like me lol
