I love looking for fun new products to offer my readers. A couple of weeks ago, while looking eco-friendly baby products, I ran across the cutest eco-spectacular website that offers awesome recycled baby products! Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Hair Treatment Review

Win Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil for Hair Treatment! One of the drawbacks to this pregnancy is that I've noticed that I have a really dry scalp.  I guess that goes along with having dry skin as well, but I am not a big fan of going from a great head of debris free hair to a crumbly, dry, itchy scalp. After using Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil for Hair Treatment I have had great results with keeping my dry scalp at bay.  I love coconut and coconut oil, and another plus is that my scalp…

30 days of Mom-to-Be Day 5: Baby Clothes (makes mom happy)

I apologize for my absence!  I blame it on my sister-in-law.  I started watching Grey's Anatomy, and she texted me to catch up so that she could freak out with me over the last episode, so that's what I've been doing.  Pitiful, I know. The best way to make mom happy during pregnancy is to feed the hunger of getting ready for the baby!  The best way to do that is to buy something FOR the baby.  By doing this, you're actually giving mom-to-be the gift of happiness! KonoAudio Earbuds for Tweens and Teens Review and Giveaway

WIN! KonoAudio iPopperz Sportz Baseball Earbuds I don't now about you, but my kiddos LOVE playing games on my phone.  The most annoying game they play is Angry Birds.  Not because of the game itself (it's cool, I ), but because when I'm watching the ballgame (or Grey's), the last thing I want buzzing around in my ear is the Angry Birds song and the little birds chirping and or whatever it is they so annoyingly do! The same goes for the DS or  I just don't want to hear it.  The boys have those hard supposed-to-fit-every-ear earbuds that were…

30 Days of Mom-to-Be: Day 4 – Gift Registry

Are you planning on doing a gift registry? I wasn't.  Frankly, with baby #4 on the way, I don't see the point.  HOWEVER, my BFF, Roxanna the Jolly would not stop bugging me about it, and she insisted I register. So I did. For her. Ha!  Password protected, and she's the only one who has the password.  As a matter of fact, I don't even remember the password. Did you know that you can do a gift registry via Amazon??  Mine were actually through two different cloth diaper retailers, however, with places like Amazon or Babies R Us, you aren't…

The DUMBEST quote I’ve ever read about Natural Childbirth

I love Amazon.  One of the things that I have learned along the way is that reading reviews are EXTREMELY important if you're going to buy something you can't really lay your hands on ( online purchases). This morning, as I was gearing up to post today's "30 Days of Mom-to-Be post, I decided to check feedback and reviews for the book from Ina May Gaskin - Ina May's Guide to Childbirth.  I love the book, but I wanted to see what others had to say, and I was actually surprised that there were any negative views.  So I clicked…

30 Days of Mom-to-Be: Day 3 – Unscented Deodorant

I don't know about you, but when I'm pregnant, NOTHING smells good for very long.  I'll light a candle, and it will smell good for the first ten minutes, and after that, I have to blow it out.  I'd rather smell the smoke than the scent!  What is the point of smell aversions during pregnancy, anyway?  Really? (more…)

30 Days of Mom-To-Be: Day 2 – Body or Maternity Pillows

Last night, when I was laying in bed, I would find a comfortable position for it to only last about 2-3 minutes. I would stuff a regular pillow here and there, but it just became a cumbersome task. The next thing on my list to get for a comfortable night's sleep is a body pillow.  I really don't care what form or fashion it comes in,  I just know that it needs to be more than 35 inches long! (more…)
