Moms need a break, too? Really? Whodathunkit?

I have the Groupon App on my phone.  What's Groupon? you ask.  It's one of those crazy, fun one deal a day sites. What I like the most about this one though, is spelled out in the first sentence for you - there's an app for that! Ya see, it caters to your local area.  When you sign up, which you'll want to do here in a sec, it will ask you your area.  Then, it will send you daily emails with the deal of the day. Chili’s Free Chips and Queso – Grab it while it’s HOT!

When we decide to go eat as a family, the first place Hawk (the 4 yr old) blurts out is CHILI'S!!  We're not quite sure if it's the crayons, the cool drinks they have for kiddos, or if it's the chips and queso.  I'm guessing it's a combination, but my kiddos LOVE chips and queso.  They would eat it as a meal and be perfectly happy. Want FREE Chips and Queso?  Click here and get your coupon!

Online Gender Predictions! Boy or Girl?

This post was written pre-Jett. From the get-go, Andy and I decided that we're NOT going to find out the gender of this baby until birth!  Some people think it's cool, some people think we're crazy, and some people say that there's NO way they could wait! We're cool with it!  The only thing it really means, for us, is that we'll have to come up with two different names. (I just shot one down today, by the way - poor Andy.)  I'm a 'gender neutral' kinda person when it comes to clothes, diapers, car seats, etc. (more…)

Disposable Diapers vs. Cloth Diapers in an Inflated Economy

I read, yesterday that the price of disposable diapers is going up, possibly…

A NEW Nighttime Cloth Diapering Solution! Blissful Booty Review

Blissful Booty Toddler XL Cloth Diaper Review Not too long ago, Cathy Brown from Blissful Booty Cloth Diapers mosied her way on to  one of my Facebook pages and soon after into the inbox of one of my fabulous friends, Brandy, from Not So Average Mama, asking her if she'd like to do a giveaway of one of her cloth diapers. Tropical Traditions Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey Review

There's nothing better than the taste of  your favorite honey in your tea, or poured on top of your biscuits and pancakes - until you taste Tropical Traditions Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey. I've used many different types of local honey for all types of recipes and sweeteners, but nothing comes close to the raw biting flavor of Tropical Traditions. My family loves this honey.  Just yesterday, we used it, mixed with butter, as a dip for my biscuits, and this morning, I mixed it in with organic orange spice tea.  WONDERFUL. (more…)
