Kylie, even at 12 years old, still LOVES to go paint ceramics!  Her Mimi takes her every chance she gets.  My boys have a blast as well, but I think, for them, it's more about getting as messy as you can.  At least Kylie tries to paint inside the lines! When we lived in Katy, we used to have Girl Scout parties at Ceramics by Tess!  It's such a fun place for girls (and boys) to go and be themselves while expressing their inner artist! Most Taboo Baby Shower Cake Ever – but I’d be down for it!

Last night, Murphy's jurisdiction was focused on me alone. At one point, while Andy was still awake, I woke up, groggy eyed, to go to the bathroom, and noticed something on the floor in front of the toilet.  Grant you, I'm really tired, and just want some sleep.  For a second, I saw what I thought was a scorpion.  We have never had a scorpion in…

What is your 9/11 story?

Mine always starts Kylie had pink eye, and my sister was in NYC on her honey moon. It wasn't until this morning that I realized that my then-2-year-old really has no idea what happened that day. My sister got married on 9/8, and they flew to New York as a layover destination for their Hawaiian Honeymoon.  The details are sketchy, but from what I remember, they were some of the last people to tour the World Trade Center on the night of 9/10/01.  The next morning, my brother-in-law went down to get breakfast, when the first plane hit.  They felt…
