Flashing Blinky Lights Brandcation 80’s Party | #brandcation #pigeonforge

When I first heard that we were having a Flashing Blinky Lights Brandcation 80's party, I was stoked!  I love the 80's! We had a lot of fun during the 80's party!  There were tons of awesome costumes, flashy blinky things, homemade pizza, and just a ton of fantastic laughs and fellowship that was so much fun. If you plan to hold the party in your garden, consider putting up garden festoon lights that offer a soft glow to illuminate your landscape. Are these glasses awesome??  We each got our own, and of course, I put mine on green and it…

Hollywood Wax Museum Pigeon Forge – I got pics with my fave celebs!

If you've ever read anything I've posted in the past, you'll know two thing about my kids.  #1 they are obsessed with Star Wars, and #2 their favorite man in the whole world is Indiana Jones.  Can you imagine their surprise when I my husband a picture of me with Dr. Jones the almighty to show them while I was out of town?  They had no idea that I was actually at the Hollywood Wax Museum Pigeon Forge! Andy said that they thought it was the coolest thing ever, and that Hawk actually thought he was real!  Truth be told,…

Titanic Museum Attraction Pigeon Forge – All aboard! Fantastic Museum!

When I first told my extended family that I would be going to Pigeon Forge with all of my Brandcation girls, my parents began to point out all of the places that I should visit while I was there.  They didn't realize that our itinerary was pre-determined (and pretty full), so they were happy to find out that I would be headed to the Titanic Museum Attraction Pigeon Forge. My parents went on and on about how much they enjoyed the museum and getting to know and see a little more about the history of the Titanic and the passengers aboard the ship.  I…

Bluegrass, Comedy, Flashy Costumes, and Lots of Food – All in One! | Dixie Stampede

As you may have read in one of my previous posts, my parents went to Pigeon Forge way-back-when, and they were excited to find out that Dixie Stampede was on our itinerary for Brandcation #4!  Dixie Stampede Pigeon Forge Attraction is a great place to go for awesome food, high energy, and tons of entertainment. What I didn't know is that each show seats and feeds 1,200 people!  That's a lot of people, and tons of food. One of my favorite parts of Dixie Stampede was actually the pre-show.  It was awesome to sit and listen to the bluegrass trio.  The guys…

How many bloggers does it take to set up a roll-away cot?

I think I laughed harder at Brandcation #4 than any other Brandcation I've attended! We laughed so hard that Lulu (Moscato Mom) commented several times that we need Poise or Depends to sponsor our next event.  We had an absolute blast! There was tons of Cabin Fever Vacations fun to be had. One of the most memorable moments for me was actually setting up for bed. Ever wondered how many bloggers it takes to set up a roll-away cot? Ha! At one point, we were so loud, that Blondie (The Blonde Critic) and Lulu had to come upstairs to find…

Dollywood is #Breastfeeding Friendly! | #Brandcation

Being a nursing mom, I'm always on the look out for places that have accommodations for moms who breastfeed.  Aside from the awesome hospitality, Dollywood is breastfeeding friendly! When we arrived, Jenn from asked me if I noticed the nursing stations located around the park, and I went out on a mission to find them!   To my surprise, located in the bathroom area, I found a cozy little room with a comfy glider rocker in the air conditioning with a door that said "Nursing Room". On a side note, it was awesome to see some babywearing dads while I…
