My blog started out as something fun. I used to be on a different URL, and once I decided I was serious about blogging, I cracked down, bought this URL and decided to build up it. I've also started blogging full time for another blog (which I will not name to save the innocent). That blogging is a job. Sure, a lot of it is fun, but I sit here for 8 hours or more a day, and blog, juggling kiddos, diapers, lunches, school drop off and pick up, and all the other stuff that comes with being a wife…

Where does your family fall in these video game categories? We're raising a family of gamer geeks (check the link for my post on this), but I never would have guessed that more people play the Wii than other consoles! I think the #1 selling game (look at the bottom of the graphic) is only because it's the game that comes (or used to come) with the console! What do you think? via

Unbelievable Music Machine Video – This took a LOT of time and effort!
This video is almost unbelievable. Check out how all of the balls wind up in catcher cones. It's amazing! Your kiddos will definitely love this! This incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between the Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of Engineering at the University of Iowa. Amazingly, 97% of the machine's components came from John Deere Industries and Irrigation Equipment of Bancroft, Yes, farm equipment!
