Bloggers do not work for FREE. Please don’t expect us to.

My blog started out as something fun.  I used to be on a different URL, and once I decided I was serious about blogging, I cracked down, bought this URL and decided to build up it.  I've also started blogging full time for another blog (which I will not name to save the innocent). That blogging is a job.  Sure, a lot of it is fun, but I sit here for 8 hours or more a day, and blog, juggling kiddos, diapers, lunches, school drop off and pick up, and all the other stuff that comes with being a wife…

Here’s your knife, Milwaukee. #cosleeping

We co-sleep.  For as long as I can remember, we have had a kiddo in the bed with us.  At times, we have two kids in bed with us - one being an infant. I was extremely offended by the anti-co-sleeping (bed sharing), or fear mongering, ads that City of Milwaukee Health Department started circulating recently.  Sure, I get it.  Co-sleeping isn't for everyone, but neither is crib sleeping. Last night, in my bed, was a prime example of how co-sleeping could have possibly saved my baby's life. Jett started wiggling around, and usually when he does this, I just…

St. Louis Cardinals Dangle Earrings Under $5 | #StLCardinals #WorldSeries Champs

I'm a Houston Astros fan first, but when your #2 team goes to the World Series and WINS, you're allowed to cheer for them, even though the opposing team is a Texas team as well! Follow Rosengurtle’s Birth on Facebook and Twitter | #RosengurtlesBirth

PREFACE:  I'm not in labor.  I'm just getting set up so we can be prepared! We've decided to start Rosengurtle's Birth Facebook Page for a few of reasons! 1. We understand that not all of our Facebook friends want all the details of Rosengurtle's Birth flooding their feed, and we also understand that there may be blog followers, co-workers, etc., who are not our Facebook friends that may want to keep updated as well. 2. In this digital age, this is a great way for us to document Rosengurtle's Birth to remember it later so that we can write our birth…

Potential Sponsor for BlogHer ’12? PumpEase – You need ME!!

Ok, so I won't look this hot, but I can totally see this being me at BlogHer '12! I have decided that if I'm going to go to BlogHer '12 in NYC, I'm going to need to find a sponsor.  Since I will still be nursing the baby, I'll definitely spend much of the time there using a breastpump, and I can't think of a better sponsor than one that promotes breasefeeding! I think I've found the company I want to pitch as a sponsor!  LOVE this photo!  Check out the fantastic PumpEase deal going on right now at Zulily.
